As I mentioned in the reply to Iain, they can be quite difficult to find among the foliage and flowers, but the constant movement as they 'farm' the pollen gives them away. Those feeding in my garden have to contend with a feisty pair of Little Wattlebirds nesting in the neighbouring melaleuca. Interesting encounters.BirdingTashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08341646998037894004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18783751.post-28598933064631671492011-02-14T14:36:24.884+11:002011-02-14T14:36:24.884+11:00Hi Iain,

The shivering (probably should have called it quivering) is resorted to fairly often, and I've seen it performed by Swift Parrots too.BirdingTashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08341646998037894004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18783751.post-56323335511274038352011-02-14T14:29:05.767+11:002011-02-14T14:29:05.767+11:00I almost had to put on sunglasses to look at these...I almost had to put on sunglasses to look at these pics.
